Book review!

I've been looking online for different books that help you when starting teaching and have been sent a copy of Andrew Crossland's book:

Outstanding Teaching in a Primary School

He is a classroom teacher in a primary school in the north and is coordinator of art, design and technology and school council at his school.

In his book he covers lots of different topics that trainees in particular may be interested in, but are also relevant to primary school teachers. It's got sections talking about classroom management, differentiation and has handy tips and ideas for things like starters and plenaries as well.

It gives you lots of ideas for that you can use in your classroom! And it's always nice to have backup ideas for class games, tips on prompt questions you can use and behaviour management techniques.

If you want to check out his website then it's at: www.outstandingprimaryteacher.com
